Led by Prisma Health physicians Dr. Francesco Laterza and Dr. Joseph Laterza, the practice was born from a shared love of providing exceptional clinical care hand-in-hand with affirming medical-grade aesthetic services—and the husband-owner duo have already made an incredible impact for the LGBTQ community, tired moms in search of themselves, and patients who have driven hundreds of miles for their niche services.
“When we talk about the art of medicine as physicians, I think about how creative you have to be. Sometimes that means navigating insurance—or from an aesthetic perspective, literally sculpting faces,” says Joseph. “And while we offer the most advanced laser treatments and injectables, permanent makeup and other solutions, we’re also very passionate about skincare as the foundation for everything. We partner with some really good organizations to carry medical-grade products, and I’ll even refer patients to dermatology if I think they need a biopsy.”
When not chasing their toddler at Unity Park or running on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, the team at Arvé Aesthetics focuses on making inner and outer beauty accessible—including offering memberships that allow patients to invest in their best self sooner than later; or partnering with Jasmine Road to bring their skilled tattoo removal services to survivors of sex trafficking. “It’s incredibly rewarding,” Joseph says. “I love that we’re building confidence and giving patients a sense of their self back.”
