TOWN and Metropolitan Arts Council presented awards at Artisphere’s Artists of the Upstate exhibition on May 9. Alan Ethridge, MAC executive director, and Leigh Savage, executive editor of TOWN, presented four awards totaling $2,500. The Artists of the Upstate Exhibition showcased 45 pieces by 40 artists, selected from 214 pieces submitted for consideration. Kreneshia Whiteside-McGee, an art curator and consultant, served as juror.
