Rush Wilson Limited’s high-end history stretches back to 1950
Harry S. Truman was president and “Mona Lisa” by Nat King Cole topped the charts when Rush Wilson Jr., at age 23, opened a clothing shop called Rush Wilson Limited. After launching his first store in Davidson, North Carolina, in 1950, Wilson expanded to Greenville, South Carolina, in 1959.
Now celebrating 75 years in the clothing business, and with the next two generations at the helm—Rush III, and Rush IV (Jay)—the shop is more sought-after than ever, boasting top brands in casual sportswear plus custom suits, tuxedo rentals, sport coats, Scottish attire, accessories, and gifts.
