Cari first met her future husband through a coworker, Joseph’s mother. After being introduced, the two dated for a few months in 2018 before deciding to be friends. However, that all changed in 2020 when Joseph told Cari she was “the one,” and they have been together ever since. After dating for a little over a year, Joseph proposed in January 2022. The couple went on a month-long skiing adventure in Colorado, and on their way down from their last run, in full ski gear, Joseph popped the question.
The ceremony was held just under a year later at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel in Landrum. Cari and Joseph said their vows atop the edge of Glassy Mountain, with fog rolling in, creating an incredibly romantic and picturesque moment they will never forget.
Cari, a recruiter at Warren Averett, and Joseph, owner of ServiceWorks, now live in Birmingham, Alabama, and look forward to starting a family close to home.
