For generations, aspiring artists have honed their skills and nurtured their vision under the guidance of master artists, forging their paths to creative success. In 2015, a group of artists in Greenville posed the question: How do we create that guidance and support for artists in Greenville?
That was the starting point of the Greenville Center for Creative Arts, the area’s only nonprofit community art center focused on providing high-quality visual arts instruction and engagement. Operating out of the former Brandon Textile Mill in the Village of West Greenville, GCCA not only enriches the vibrant culture of our community—it provides real opportunities for artists to grow their audience, collaborate with their peers, and foster career mobility. Arts should be accessible to everyone, and GCCA ensures Greenville remains a place where that vision is brighter than ever.
