Lace up your ice skates (or rent a pair on-site), and take a spin around the rink on the Village Green (next to Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Downtown). It’s open through mid-January, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice your camel spins and double axels, and warm up with hot chocolate afterwards.

Sh!t-Faced Shakespeare: Hamlet

Get thee to the Gunter Theatre for this uproarious rendition of The Bard’s greatest work. It’s an irreverent treatment of Hamlet, and one that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Performed in under two hours, the production is a highbrow mix of classical Elizabethan drama and no-holds-barred drunken antics. Make sure you don’t miss the hijinks—there’s definitely something rotten in Denmark.

Peace Center, 300 S. Main St., Greenville. Nov. 20–23, Thurs.–Sun., times vary. $55. peacecenter.org
