SIFT Gallery presented a selection of works from acclaimed artist Matt Baumgardner, curated in collaboration with the Furman University art department and the Baumgardner estate. “Winter Metamorphosis” explores the creative process and inner spirit of the artist, who built a studio in Travelers Rest after more than 20 years in New York. A reception featured remarks from the curatorial team at SIFT, located in the McMillan Pazdan Smith lobby on Augusta Street. The work will be on display through January 2023 before moving to Fursman University.
