When the Swamp Rabbits enter the rink at Bon Secours Wellness Arena for the opening game of the 2025–26 season, get ready for slick style, high competition, and engaging fun. Head Coach and General Manager Chad Costello will be working the bench, encouraging players to seize the W. He sends this message to folks on the other side of the glass. “I’m honest, I’m loyal, and I love my players,” the new coach shares. “Expect a hard, fast, consistent brand of hockey, and expect a team that’s committed to doing things right every night we take the ice.”
Off the ice, Rabbits fans can sport spirited apparel, cheering across promotional nights that invite all kinds of fashion. From lederhosen and dirndls (Oktoberfest) to Superman capes (Marvel Super Hero Nights), organizers are tapping into celebrated themes and pop culture to bring The Well to life. “We take feedback and input from our fans, season ticket holders, and corporate partners, who are all the lifeblood of our organization,” reveals Senior Director Mark Binetti. “Whether it’s new themes or different getaways, we take our fans’ opinions and use that to help craft our theme nights.”
It’s all part of a game-winning strategy. Binetti explains: “The players thrive off of our fans and do their best every night to deliver a product that they can be proud of. When they see a special jersey, or hear the concourse buzzing as they warm up, they know that there’s another level of intensity.” Better than a goal through the five-hole.
