Thanks to all our readers for such an enthusiastic response to our magazine’s inaugural issue. We really appreciate the warm welcome! In case you missed it, a digital version can be found online at vive-mag.com.

For many of us, spring brings a freshness–an emergence of sorts. We pry out of our winter cocoon, shed the layers, and bask in the sunlight. We greet April showers and May flowers as we watch rain dance on the new buds and leaves as they too embrace the season.

We have many stories in this issue we hope will inspire, motivate, empower, or just provide you with an enjoyable read. If it entices you to embrace spring, even better.

Inside, you’ll meet a couple who decided the pandemic was an opportunity to embark on a yearlong adventure to Belize. Writer Stephanie Trotter brings us a story of the perils and (sometimes hilarious) pitfalls of dating later in life.  Another story features a scientist-turned-winemaker opening a new family winery in Marietta.

Thinking about volunteering or getting involved?  Find out how others are helping local animal organizations and how you can pitch in. Or maybe you’d like to put those current or former management skills to use with SCORE. You’ll also meet a couple who liked a local nonprofit organization so much they chose to move to Greenville to assist.

And much more.

Please reach out with any questions, comments, or story ideas.

I’d love to hear from you.

Live life to the fullest,

Sherry Jackson
