Although Natalie and Ryan grew up going to the same church, they lost touch during high school. Right before leaving home to attend Clemson University, they were reconnected, and this time they clicked.
On the fifth anniversary of their first date, the couple planned a ski trip to Boone, North Carolina. As soon as they set foot on the balcony of their mountain retreat, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed. Their engagement celebration was unfortunately cut short when Natalie broke her leg during a ski run, but Ryan tended to her in a true testament to “in sickness and in health.”
The wedding was held at The View Point at Buckhorn Creek on Paris Mountain, where Natalie married Ryan in a Justin Alexander gown in front of a small group of friends and family. The couple lives in Greenville, and Natalie commutes to her job at the Anderson VA Clinic.
