A new city means new opportunity. Janet Talpasz and Dan Freeman moved to Charlotte around the same time, and both decided to give online dating a try. When the two connected, it made the move to a new town even smoother. Three and a half years later, on the rocks at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel, Dan asked Janet to be his wife. They returned to this special venue for their big day, where their intimate wedding party made the ceremony exactly what they envisioned. Janet walked down the aisle with her mom and brother in a Hayley Paige gown and a veil she borrowed from a friend, which was custom-designed with pieces of her mother’s and grandmother’s wedding gowns. Merriment followed at the reception, and the evening ended with a s’mores bar and grilled cheese sandwiches. The couple now lives in Denver, Colorado.
