Cristina and Heath, both from Greenville, met at Clemson University, where they tailgated as friends for several years before going on a date and quickly realizing they wanted to be together forever. One night in downtown Greenville, Cristina and Heath went on a walk, and stationed along the way, Cristina found six of her best friends. At the end of the walk, both families were present for the proposal at Cancer Survivors Park.
The couple was married at Grace Church Downtown, with a reception at Thornblade Country Club, in the neighborhood where Cristina grew up. She wore a dress from Poinsett Bride, later changing into an exit dress from Fashion Nova accented with his-and-hers orange Nikes. Cristina, who works in financial services, and Heath, a cyber engineer, now reside in Greenville.
