The 2024 Bourbon for Boobs fundraiser supporting breast cancer awareness and research was held Oct. 24 at the Foundry at Judson Mill. Melissa Morrell, a local Realtor, founded the event in honor of her mother, Sammie Sweeney-Ferrigan, who passed away from breast cancer in 2014.
The 2024 Bourbon for Boobs event aimed to raise more than $126,000 for the Bon Secours St. Francis’ Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health.
