Centre Stage’s thrust stage — with seating on three sides — draws audiences into the action, creating an intimate experience. “Anything we put on is, by nature of the space, going to be unique,” says Executive Artistic Director Laura Nicholas.
Their second facility on Laurens Road supports rehearsals, set construction, and community programs. Centre Stage’s genre-defying seasons include bold classics, hidden gems, and new works through the New Play Festival.
“I love shaping the stories we tell and how we tell them,” Nicholas adds.
