Rebecca Kincaid wrote a book called “No One Owes You Anything: How to Look Out for Yourself in Retirement,” but many families are happy she’s looking out for them. Covering coordination of income, long-term care, efficient tax strategies, advanced legacy planning, and risk management, she maps a “CLEAR” path for clients’ unique goals.
Kincaid paid for college by working at a property and casualty company. She laughs about her initial motivation for earning her “P&C” license: a 50-centper- hour raise. Later, she helped hundreds of professionals grow their practices through Tarkenton Financial, founded by Pro Football Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton.
Ninety-five percent of Kincaid’s business comes from referrals, and the “Kincaid family” often gathers for events from wine-tastings to baseball games. “Passion’ isn’t a strong enough word for my feelings about getting people to a place where they’re peaceful about their future,” she says. “There’s no price tag on that.”
