Greenville foodie spots have gotten creative, with COVID-19 forcing them to shut their doors for dine-in. Whether it’s online markets or family-meal options, these restaurants are doing their part to stay relevant during these strange times.

Online Shopping Savvy:

The Anchorage // This gem in the Village of West Greenville is now offering an online market where customers can shop their weekly rotating selection of wines, beer, produce, and restaurant favorites (including their sourdough bread, above) for curbside pickup. @theanchoragegvl

Swamp Rabbit Café & Grocery // Online ordering is available for both café cravings and sought-after grocery items, including frozen meals and pizza. Collect your goods via curbside pickup or have them delivered within an 8-mile radius of Swamp. @swamprabbitcafe

Something Different:

Bar Mars // Missing a genuinely good cocktail during quarantine? You can order Bar Mars’s bootleg mixers online. Choose from the likes of margarita mix and tonic syrup, and enjoy your favorite drinks at home. Bar Mars is also hosting the new Filipino pop-up Take (@takamgvl) on Wednesday nights so you can try new foods to accompany your cocktails. @thebarmars

Topsoil Kitchen & Restaurant // Along with a new weekly menu, groceries, wine, and baked goods, this local favorite has jumped on the gourmet pizza bandwagon with Chicago-style pie, available Friday through Sunday. @topsoilrestaurant

Something Fresh:

Automatic Taco // Since 2015, Nick Thomas has delivered new wonders and old favorites from his food truck, treating the tortilla as a work of art. From its new brick-and-mortar store in The Commons, Auto still serves up creative takes on tacos, but for the time being, Thomas has again been delivering favorites via the restaurant’s food truck. Pick up your dinner and plate it at home, but don’t forget the Mexican beer. @automatic_taco

Oak Hill Café & Farm // Oak Hill is baking up a storm, offering fresh bread on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Order the goods online, and remember their café is also open for takeout and delivery. @oakhillcafegvl

Family Style:

GB&D // Get your GB&D fix by ordering online or by phone. If you need something for the entire family, this beloved Commons spot’s got you covered, with dessert and beverages included. Offerings change daily, so check out Instagram for the latest menu. @eatgbnd

Jianna // Enjoy Jianna’s trattoria-style cuisine at your own dinner table. In addition to their regular menu, the restaurant is featuring their most popular dishes, such as Fusilli Bolognese and Spaghetti TBG, as family-meal options. Place your order online and pick up between 5-8 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. @jiannagreenville
