The Greenville Jewelry Invitational is accepting applications from local jewelry artists to participate through Sept. 30.

The free event, which took a year off due to COVID-19 concerns, will return on Dec. 5 from noon to 5 p.m. at Art Up Studios in Hampton Station at 1320 Hampton Ave. Extension in Greenville.

“Greenville has such a vibrant arts community but I feel that our jewelry artists, in particular, may not be quite as visible as a whole to the general public,” said event host Tanya Stiegler. “We’re all hunkered down in our stores and studios, working away. My hope is that the Invitational will showcase the wealth and variety of jewelry-making talent here in Greenville and plant the seed that, just as we’re seeing people build a carefully curated collection of local art for their home, the same is possible for their personal adornment.”

To request an application, email Stiegler at tanya@tanyastieglerdesigns.com. Accepted participants will be notified by Oct. 9. For more information, click here.
