Greenville Center for Creative Arts announced its 2021-22 Brandon Fellows Aug. 6 during the art education nonprofit’s Annual Showcase.
In its seventh year, the 12-month-long fellowship seeks to develop three emerging artists between the age of 21 and 30 who represent the diversity of Greenville’s visual arts scene, according to a press release.
The program affords the artists free studio space, a supply stipend, mentorship, art education and support for them to continue their artistic endeavors.

“The competition was fierce again this year and demonstrates the quality of artistic talent in Greenville,” Kim Fabian, Greenville Center for Creative Arts’ executive director, said. “We are delighted to welcome these artists to the GCCA family and be a part of their growth. For many of our recipients, we know this program can be the distinguishing opportunity that allows them to make a living doing the work that inspires them and enriches our community.”
