When it comes to estate planning, there are many consequential misconceptions that lead to inferior planning. This is why it is incredibly important to entrust attorneys who are dedicated to helping you prepare for the ups and downs life may bring.

Dylan Lingerfelt and William Quirion founded AVP Law in 2019 with estate planning as one of their main practice areas. They understand the value in not only educating clients about the importance of proper planning for their future, but also make the process straightforward and easy to understand.

AVP stands for the latin phrase “ad vitam paramus,” which means “we are preparing you for life.” AVP Law is committed to helping individuals and families prepare for whatever the future may bring.

“We try to add as much value as we can without increasing our costs,” says Lingerfelt. “Our process begins with a free consultation to help answer any questions, then we spend time explaining the estate planning process, going over any helpful insights and figuring out what is in their best interest.”

As a part of their comprehensive estate planning packages for wills and trusts, AVP provides educational documents as a helpful resource. These tools  better explain the process, clear up any common misconceptions, and give details about the purpose of each document. In addition, the firm provides a free consultation for follow-ups once a year to ensure the current plan is still the best plan.

“We don’t believe in just telling our clients what is best for them,” Quirion says. “We believe in showing and explaining why certain techniques are better suited for their needs. We empower our clients through clear and easy-to-understand information that gives our clients the peace of mind knowing that they have the best planning.”

Since the start of their practice, Lingerfelt and Quirion have valued the importance of helping clients understand what is in their best interest during every step of the process. This is why they remain committed to open communication and availability.

“One thing I will always want to do is talk to clients directly. I want that to be a focus for us, to always be available because we are who they’re paying for,” Lingerfelt says.

“We provide our clients all of the documentation they might need for them and their family to make sure they are taken care of, and if anything were to happen, they don’t have to worry about it,” Quirion adds.

Because life is unpredictable, and everyone needs a plan.
