MAConnect, Metropolitan Arts Council’s social group, joined the Modern Lovers group at GCMA for a contemporary art exhibit featuring Ashley Norwood Cooper. Informed by abstract expressionism, Cooper’s work depicts intimate, middle-class life in vibrant colors applied with bold, expressive brushstrokes. Her work will be on display at GCMA through September 8.
