After meeting at a hot yoga class at Southern Om, things heated up even more when Spencer asked Asia to dinner. After that first date at Coral, they knew they were a couple with staying power. When Asia moved to New York City for her last semester of college, they found that even long-distance dating was no obstacle.
The couple tied the knot at The Saluda Inn in Saluda, North Carolina. Asia, an interior designer, wanted to get creative with her tablescapes, and chose herbs and vegetables as centerpieces. Guests left with bags of locally grown produce, and extra food was donated to Saluda Pantry.
Asia wore a dress from BHLDN, Anthropologie’s wedding shop. Joel Kirby, the owner of The Saluda Inn and a wedding designer, assisted with florals and design, and guests enjoyed cake from Strossner’s Bakery and gelato from Sugar and Snow Gelato.
Asia and Spencer, an investment advisor and portfolio manager, live in downtown Greenville.
