Madeline Reilly and Alex Deane met in high school and dated on and off as their college careers took them on different paths, Madeline to Michigan and Alex to Florida. Alex proposed in the sands of Sanibel Island, Florida, in July 2025 with friends and family waiting nearby to celebrate.
The couple was married at Greenville’s Huguenot Mill & Loft, with music provided by Emerald Empire. For a personalized touch for their 189 guests, they wrote thank-you notes on watercolor cards hand-painted by Alex’s mother, Susan Schwartzkopf. Madeline wore a dress from Poinsett Bride.
Madeline, a student at USC School of Medicine, and Alex, a civil engineer at SeamanWhiteside, live in Greenville.
