After meeting in college in Louisiana and dating for four years, Tyler popped the question at Rock Quarry Garden in downtown Greenville. Their wedding took place at Grand Holland Estate in Simpsonville, with rain lending an atmospheric backdrop as soon as Elizabeth began walking down the aisle and stopping as the outdoor ceremony finished. A favorite special feature was a greenery wall full of framed photos of happy couples who were in attendance that day.
Cocktail hour included a traveling violinist, and the reception featured a crowd-pleasing eight-piece band called The Business. The band brought a taste of Louisiana with a “second line,” a New Orleans tradition. Elizabeth wore a Jenny Yoo gown purchased at Bloom Bridal, and Tyler wore a custom tuxedo from Rush Wilson Ltd.
Elizabeth, a marketing manager, and Tyler, who works in video production, live in Greenville.
