Christiana and Josh met on a double date—but they were paired up with other people. Though they had a crush on each other, they kept quiet about it and went their separate ways . . . until fifteen years later, when Josh asked Christiana on their first date. Fast-forward nine months, and Josh organized a private dinner in the wine cellar at Soby’s for their engagement. Family and friends, including Josh’s young daughter, were there to celebrate. They tied the knot on the dock at Christiana’s family’s home in Charleston overlooking a Lowcountry marsh.
The ceremony, led by family friend and former South Carolina judge Karen Floyd, blended Southern style and Italian elegance, with Tuscan-style greenery, candlelight, and white flowers. Dinner was catered by Amalfi’s of Mount Pleasant, followed by a cake from Baked by Ginny. Makeup and hairstyling were provided by Whitney Miller of Moxie Miller, who had traveled the world with Christiana during a professional fitness career that included FMG Pro Bikini Model Champion.
Now a digital advertising executive, she and Josh, who is in pharmaceutical sales, live in Greenville.
