Iron Caterer will present the Fifth Annual Iron Caterer Throwdown from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 12 at The Old Cigar Warehouse, 912B S. Main St. in Greenville.
During the event, chefs from four Greenville catering companies will compete by creating three unique dishes, each based off of three secret ingredients.
The chefs will have 20 minutes to prepare each dish and all attendees will sample each of their submissions to determine the guest favorite.
Tickets are $125 per person and include food, beer, wine and liquor. Attendees may also pay $50 for a VIP upgrade, which includes early entry to meet the chefs, judges and MCs. They will also receive a signed apron.
