Thea and Taylor’s love story is one for the books. The couple met while in college at the University of South Carolina but did not start dating until much later. While they were always familiar with each other, the sparks didn’t fly until they reconnected at Taylor’s housewarming party after college. The couple dated for two years while Thea lived in Greenville and Taylor lived in Columbia. Their relationship was long distance until the proposal in July of 2022.
The ceremony was held on April 29, 2023, at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, making the night a real My Big Fat Greek Wedding-style celebration full of tradition and fun. Thea and Taylor were led by the priest around a table representing the Holy Trinity, symbolizing their first steps together as husband and wife, with Jesus at the center. The festivities continued at the Greenville Country Club for the reception under a tent on the driving range.
Thea, nurse at Prisma Health, and Taylor, real estate developer at Cason Development Group, now live in Columbia, South Carolina, with their black lab, Pete.
