TOWN executive editor Leigh Savage hit the trail with Griffin Donley for the latest episode of Upstate Trail Talks, a podcast Donley started along with his wife Elizabeth in 2023. The couple celebrated their 200th episode in April 2025.
Each week, the Donleys tackle a portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail with a guest who has Upstate ties. Guests include business owners, government officials, chefs, artists, athletes, and more.
“Griffin and I realized during our chat that our roles are similar,” Savage says. “He shines a spotlight on the people and places that make the Upstate so appealing, and that’s similar to what we share in TOWN magazine.”
