Like so many in the digital age, Kortney and Dillon met through mutual friends on Facebook.
They were engaged at their “happy place,” the laid-back Gulf Coast beaches along Highway 30A in Florida, surrounded by family. The wedding was held at Heyward Manor in Iva, South Carolina: a picture-perfect venue on a tree farm with sprawling meadows and water views. A unity cross was incorporated into the ceremony, and the reception featured fireworks, followed by the couple riding away in an antique Ford Bronco. Kortney’s wedding gown was designed by Martina Liana, and purchased from Dressing Dreams in Hartwell, Georgia.
Kortney, a hair stylist at The Greenville Hair Bar, and Dillon, who works in logistics operations at Southeastern Freight Lines, now live in Woodruff.
