Simpsonville Arts Center, which opened in February, hosted an art opening featuring the work of Ed Cascone. Simpsonville Mayor Paul Shewmaker and representatives of the Mill Town Players, now in residence at the center, were on hand, along with food and drink from Carolina Olive Oil, Baked Cookie Shop, and Charcuterthree. Cascone did double duty, featuring his art and performing as one half of jazz duo Sweet and Lo alongside his vocalist wife Charlene Muller-Cascone.
