Early January, Chef Tanner Marino of Patterson at Hotel Hartness suffered a mild stroke. As an integral part of the hospitality community, with experience at numerous restaurants in Greenville, multiple restaurants and organizations came together to raise money for the chef’s recovery.
Guests enjoyed a Brunch for a Cause held at Avenue in Downtown Greenville. Several chefs from around the Upstate presented small brunch bites while guests enjoyed mimosas and bloody mary cocktails to the sound of local musician, Trey Francis. All proceeds from the event were donated directly to Tanner’s family.
